She orders pizza on her Friday night,

leaves the frappé on the side -

her dessert treat

she feels she deserves

as she feels deserted and leaped -

all her friends moved and married,

and the dating apps

can't find

who she seeks.

She needs to pay mind

to her belief

that there’ll be no relief

and realize that's an uncertain “certainty”.

Then she can wave her vibe

way to the other side

of promising probabilities.
