A message from Brenda Rivera - Facilitator

Hello everyone,

In light of the election, I would like to start a group centered around social justice and community care. This will be a collaborative space for us to process, connect, support one another, and take meaningful action on issues including but not limited to reproductive rights, LGBTQ+ rights, racial justice, disability rights, climate change, and global atrocities and genocide. It will be a space for dialogue and highlight the vital role of mutual aid in creating resilient communities.

This group is intended to be collaborative and inclusive, where all voices can be heard, and anyone who wants to take on a leadership role—such as facilitating a discussion or planning an event—is invited to do so. We’ll prioritize meeting in person to build these connections, but we can explore the option of occasionally meeting virtually as well. If you would like to just receive updates and resources, you’re welcome to stay on the email list.
