This painting was inspired by my friend Emily Grossman's words,
"You are only blazing a trail if you light candles to guide those who walk behind you."
After I read that, I instantly had this picture in my head, of someone running towards their goal, towards their self-fulfillment, and because they’re so motivated and “fired up”, each step they take creates a flame, lighting the path that guides others.
I hope this painting empowers you to blaze your own trail and run towards your goals, all the while being supportive to anyone needing guidance.
