The artwork is taken and changed a bit from my painting, Flame the Cave, which was inspired by my friend Emily Grossman's words, "You are only blazing a trail if you light candles to guide those who walk behind you."
After I read that, I instantly had that painting in my head, of someone running towards their goal, towards self-fulfillment, and because they’re so motivated and “fired up”, each step they take creates a flame, lighting the path that guides others.
When you wear these sneakers, I hope each step is an inspired step towards your dreams. as you guide others to follow theirs.
