This line, “letting go of the me, who couldn’t let go of you” came to me some time ago, when I realized I kept having certain thoughts that always brought me down.
So I had figured, what if I let go of the version of me who couldn’t let go of the thing bringing me down?
It’s a perspective shift.
It was something along the lines of seeing myself as 2 different versions.
If this “me” can’t let “it” go, then I’ll have to let that “me” go.
So that’s the origin.
But besides this line being personal to me, “Letting go” is applicable in many aspects and to many people.
If you don’t let go of the version of yourself that is no longer serving you, like the version of you who’s holding onto outdated beliefs, negative patterns, and self-limiting behaviors, it can hinder your personal growth and overall well-being. When you let go of the version of yourself that no longer serves you, you open yourself up to new possibilities and experiences and create space for positive change and personal transformation.
Letting go allows you to break free from self-imposed limitations and embrace a more authentic and fulfilling life. It enables you to align with your true values, passions, and desires, leading to a greater sense of purpose and happiness.
